CHESTER COUNTY, PA —  With warming temperatures, the National Weather Service has dropped the Winter Weather Advisory for today in Chester County. Temperatures are forecasted to be relatively mild, reaching the 40s.

However, another storm system is expected to impact the area on Thursday, which is projected to bring yet another shot at accumulating snow and mixed precipitation across Chester County.

Wednesday is expected to be dry and cold, with highs largely near or below freezing. Sunshine is even expected before cloud forming arrives in the afternoon. Cloud cover will increase Wednesday night, and the expectation is precipitation will largely hold off until Thursday morning.

Current weather models are showing a wintry weather configuration will be in place over our area on Thursday, resulting in snow Thursday morning into early Thursday afternoon, before warmer air arrives and there is a transition to sleet/freezing rain/rain Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.

Moreover, precipitation could linger through the day on Friday. However, decreasing moisture should limit the intensity of any precipitation.
