Chester County is in for a weather rollercoaster this week. After the chill from Saturday’s cold front lingers, we’ll see a trough of low pressure hovering over us today. Luckily, high pressure will build, but don’t get too excited as it won’t arrive until Tuesday. By Wednesday, it will shift offshore, making room for low pressure to move across the southeastern U.S. before making its way northeast off the coast into next weekend. We’ll have to wait and see how much rain that system will bring. Overall, it’s a weather cocktail we’re in for this week– bundle up and keep an umbrella handy.
Through Tonight
Today’s forecast is looking bright with mostly sunny skies and a high near 63. Don’t forget to grab your shades and sunscreen before heading out. The west wind will be blowing around 10 mph, providing a refreshing breeze to keep you cool. As we transition into tonight, expect partly cloudy skies and a low of around 40. The northwest wind will be blowing from 5 to 10 mph, so you may want to consider bringing a light jacket if you plan on spending an extended period of time outside. Enjoy the beautiful weather while it lasts!
Monday Through Tuesday Night
It looks like Monday is shaping up to be a beautiful day! With sunny skies and a high near 59, it’s the perfect weather for a midday stroll or outdoor lunch. The west wind will be blowing 5 to 10 mph, making it feel crisp and refreshing. As the evening rolls in, the temperature will begin to drop, but the clear sky will provide a stunning view of the stars. Expect a low of around 38 with a northwest wind of 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday will bring more of the same gorgeous weather with sunny skies and a high near 58. The west wind will pick up to 10 to 15 mph, creating a lovely breeze. Plan on a partly cloudy night with a low of around 38.
Wednesday Through Saturday
Get ready for a mixed bag of weather as we head into the second half of the week! Wednesday will bring us some sunshine with temps reaching a comfortable 62 degrees. However, don’t forget to bring an umbrella if you’re planning on being out and about later in the evening as there is a 30% chance of showers.
Thursday and Friday will also see a chance of showers with similar temperatures to Wednesday. Friday night will be a bit cooler with temps dipping down to 44 degrees and a slightly higher chance of precipitation.
By Saturday, we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with a 50% chance of showers and temps only reaching 59 degrees. Make sure to check the forecast before making any outdoor plans this week!
