Chester County Weather Forecast for November 27-December 3

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The National Weather Service is predicting a quiet but cold week ahead for Chester County. Low pressure over the Ohio Valley will move north of our area today and tonight, bringing with it a slight chance of thunder this afternoon and evening. A cold front will cross the area early Monday, followed by high pressure later in the day. Another low pressure system will arrive Wednesday night, bringing with it another chance of rain or possibly even snow.

Chester County Weather Forecast for the Week Ahead

It looks like today is going to be a wet one here in Chester County. If you’re planning on heading out today, make sure you bring your umbrella! The National Weather Service is predicting rain starting around 11 am and continuing into the evening hours.

Temperatures will be mild, with a high near 58 degrees. However, it will be windy, with winds coming from the south at 5 to 10 mph and reaching up to 15 mph by afternoon. There is also a chance for gusts of up to 25 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%. We could see anywhere from a half inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain by the time it’s all said and done.

Looking ahead to Monday, we can expect partly sunny skies, with a high near 52 degrees. It will still be windy, with northwest winds at 10 to 15 mph and gusts as high as 25 mph possible. Monday night will be mostly clear, with lows dipping down into the upper 20s. Winds will be calm at around 5 mph before becoming calm in the evening hours. So make sure you bundle up if you’re headed out!

It looks like we’re in for a wet day today here in Chester County. Make sure you have your umbrella handy if you’re headed out! Temperatures will be mild, but it will be windy, so keep that in mind if you’ll be doing any outdoor activities. Monday looks like it will be partly sunny and still windy, so make sure you have a jacket handy too! stay safe and dry out there!

The Look Ahead: Tuesday through Saturday

Tuesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high of 47 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 0%, and the wind will be calm, becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon. Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low of around 35 degrees.

On Wednesday, the rain is expected to start early in the day and continue into the evening hours. The high temperature for the day is only 57 degrees, but the chance of precipitation is 100%. Wednesday night will have a 40% chance of showers before 1 am, and it will be mostly cloudy, with a low of around 31 degrees.

Thursday’s forecast features sunny skies and cooler temperatures, with a high of only 43 degrees. However, it will be breezy throughout the day. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low of around 24 degrees.

Friday will be another sunny day, but warmer than Thursday, with a high of 45 degrees expected. Friday night will bring mostly cloudy skies and a low temperature of 31 degrees.

The weekend looks to be colder than earlier in the week, with Saturday’s high only reaching 51 degrees. There is also a 30% chance of showers throughout the day on Saturday.

Be sure to dress warmly this week! Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be chilly days, although Wednesday has the added bonus (or deterrent) of rain throughout the day. Thursday through Saturday look to warm up slightly, although Saturday may see some showers.
