The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that construction will take place on several state highways next week in Chester County as part of a project to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.
The work schedules and locations are:
- Monday, February 27, and Tuesday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Brandywine Drive between Route 162 (Telegraph Road) and Chestnut Hollow Lane in Newlin and West Bradford townships;
- Tuesday, February 28, through Thursday, March 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Foster Road between Bodine Road and Rapps Run Drive in Charlestown Township; and
- Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on St. Peters Road between Harmonyville Road and Wells Road in North Coventry and Warwick townships.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
