WEST GOSHEN TWP, PA — Boot Road in West Goshen Township, Chester County will be restricted for resurfacing operations as a part of several projects to repair and resurface state highways within the greater Philadelphia region, announced the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

The work schedule is expected on Tuesday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 28, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, the lane closure will be on Boot Road between Hamlet Hill Drive and Greenhill Road in West Goshen Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving it with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
