Additionally, on Monday, September 25, through Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 82 (Manor Road) between Hibernia Road and Tomahawk Lane. Allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT’s safety improvement project includes widening the existing roadway, adding left turn lanes, upgrading traffic signals and signage, and restoring pavement markings. Its goal is to enhance safety at an intersection with a high rate of rear-end crashes, particularly during dark and dawn periods.

Brubacher Excavating, Inc. of Bowmansville, PA, is the general contractor on the $1.9 million project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
