PECO Utility Improvement Scheduled in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.

The work schedules and locations are as follows:

Chester County

  • Friday, February 24, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) at the intersection with Vaughn Road in North Coventry Township.

Delaware County

  • Thursday, March 2, through Friday, March 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 352 (Edgmont Avenue) at the intersection with Worrell Street in City of Chester.

Montgomery County

  • Monday, February 27, through Tuesday, March 7, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 363 (Trooper Road) between Betzwood Drive and Parkview Drive in West Norriton Township.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
