PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Across Chester County

traffic alert expect delays

PECO Energy is planning lane closures on several state highways in Chester County for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Friday, June 19, through Friday, July 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Route 113 (Pike Springs Road) at Red Fox Lane in East Pikeland Township;
  • Friday, June 19, through Friday, July 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Route 401 (Conestoga Road) at St. Andrew’s Lane in West Vincent Township; and
  • Monday, June 22, through Friday, June 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) at Commerce Drive in West Whiteland Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
