PECO to Restrict Highways for Utility Improvements in Coatesville and Parkesburg

lane closures with flagging

PECO Energy is planning lane closures on several state highways in Chester County for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Friday, July 12, through mid-September, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane closures with flagging are scheduled on 5th Avenue between Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and Chestnut Street in the City of Coatesville, Chester County; and
  • Tuesday, July 16, through Friday, August 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, weekday lane closures are scheduled on southbound Route 10 (Church Road) between 2nd Avenue and Borough Line Road in Parkesburg Borough, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
