TREDYFFRIN TWP, PA — Drivers traveling through Tredyffrin Township should prepare for overnight detours next week as PECO Energy conducts nighttime utility construction along northbound Route 252 (Bear Hill Road).

Weather permitting, northbound Route 252 will be closed overnight while crews perform utility improvement work along the corridor.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to follow one of two posted detours. Motorists may use U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Old Lancaster Road, Howellville Road, and Cassatt Road to bypass the work zone.
An alternate route will guide drivers along Swedesford Road, Route 29 (Morehall Road), and U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) around the closure area.
Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses along Bear Hill Road. However, drivers traveling through the area during the nighttime work hours should expect delays along the detour routes and near the work zone.
Motorists are encouraged to plan extra travel time or seek alternate routes while the overnight closures are in place.
