TREDYFFRIN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that culvert wingwall repair will begin next week on Devon State Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County.
From Tuesday, June 25, through Wednesday, July 3, periodic lane closures will be in effect on Devon State Road between Forest Hills Circle and Gwen Lane. These closures will occur on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Motorists should plan for significant delays and allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Traffic backups are expected due to the periodic lane closures. All scheduled activities are subject to weather conditions.
The repairs are aimed at maintaining the structural integrity of the culverts, ensuring long-term safety and efficiency. While the temporary inconvenience may cause disruptions for drivers, the improvements are necessary for sustaining the roadway infrastructure.
