Construction Activities Scheduled Next Week in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery Counties

Road Work

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that various construction activities are scheduled next week in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery counties.

The work schedules and locations are:

Bucks County

  • Monday, December 19, Wednesday, December 21, and Friday, December 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, alternating lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between Green Lane and the Interstate 95 overpass in Bristol Township for bridge inspection.

Chester County

  • Monday, December 19, through Thursday, December 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 10 (Honey Brook Road) between Beaver Dam Road and the Lancaster County Line in Honey Brook Township for utility adjustment; and
  • Wednesday, December 21, and Thursday, December 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) between Catfish Lane and Sheep Hill Road in North Coventry Township for guiderail installation.

Montgomery County

  • Monday, December 19, through Friday, December 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Ridge Pike/Main Street between Route 29 (Second Avenue) and Limerick Center Road in Trappe and Collegeville boroughs, and Upper Providence Township for maintenance hole adjustments; and
  • Monday, December 19, through Friday, December 23, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Collegeville Avenue/Second Avenue) between the U.S. 422 Interchange and Main Street in Collegeville Borough and Upper Providence Township for utility adjustments.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
