Exton Senior Living Development Company Answers Call to Support Local Meals On Wheels
Vantage Point Retirement Living Donates Funds to Meals on Wheels Amidst Covid-19

EXTON, PA — During the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s more important than ever to support the local organizations who work hard to offer services to seniors. As one of the most vulnerable populations, seniors need to take extra care during these times of social distancing. This means even a routine trip to the grocery store for food is more challenging, and even scary, for those over 65.

In recent days, local chapters of Meals on Wheels have seen a surge of applicants for their services and as expected these chapters are answering the call with eagerness and commitment to serve. As they experience this surge, it is imperative to make sure local chapters have the resources needed to continue to meet the demands of all the senior who need it.

Vantage Point and It’s Communities Donating to Local Chapters in Time of Crisis

During this time of great need, Vantage Point Retirement Living of Exton, PA, and its community are answering this call and donating $500 to a local Meals on Wheels chapter in the backyard of every community they are building.

Meals on Wheels is federally funded, but they rely heavily on donations from the community to ensure that no senior is left without a meal because of their inability to pay. A typical donation per meal is around $5 – so any amount, no matter how small, can have a BIG impact.

No one is immune to Covid-19 nor are they immune from the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and financial impacts.

If you’re able to answer the call with Vantage Point, you can support a local chapter of Meals on Wheels here:

Meals on Wheels America has also set up a national Covid-19 Response Fund – you can donate to that fund here.

If you are unable to support financially, that’s OK! Some chapters are accepting donations of packaged meals and shelf-stable items. If you have any to spare, consider donating a box to a good cause…
