WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced that Timothy O’Hara, age 47 of Willistown Township, was found guilty by a jury of Simple Assault and 3 counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person. The verdict resulted from a domestic violence incident in December 2018.

According to officials, when Willistown Police responded to a physical altercation between O’Hara and the victim, his wife, at their home, they found the victim with red marks around her neck.

The victim reported the couple was arguing over their two small children when O’Hara grabbed her by the throat, slamming her into the couch. O’Hara and the victim were each holding a child during the incident.

O’Hara will be sentenced at a later date.

Willistown Township Police handled the investigation. Chester County Assistant District Attorney Scott Werner was the prosecutor.
