EXTON, PA — The West Whiteland Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify two robbery suspects. Officers were called to the Famous Footwear located at 215 W. Lincoln Highway, Exton on May 1, 2021.

Investigators say an African American male and an African American female were witnessed allegedly stealing shoes by an observant employee. The employee approached the male and asked him to return the shoes he had concealed on his person. The male told the employee he had a gun and threatened to shoot him and “blow up the store.”

The subjects then left the store with the merchandise. There was a threat of a firearm, but no weapon was observed. Surveillance images of the actors were obtained.
