EAST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, PA — Westtown-East Goshen Police responded to the Wawa store located on Paoli Pike in East Goshen Township for the report of a male subject who attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill, on Saturday, May 02, 2020 at 6:33 pm.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt, blue pants, white sneakers and a tan in colored beanie style cap.

The individual was also wearing a protective face mask inside the store.

The accused left the store without the merchandise after employees confronted him about the counterfeit bill.

He was last seen walking towards North Chester Road (SR 352) to the east side of the Pepper Mill restaurant.

Police say the suspect is believed to be working with a black female who was reported to have entered the Wawa store on West Chester Pike in Westtown Township approximately 10 minutes later and also attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill.
