Police Investigating Retail Theft from Dick’s Sporting Goods

POTTSTOWN, PA — The North Coventry Township Police Department is investigating a retail theft from the Dick’s Sporting Goods store, located within the Coventry Mall.

Authorities state that on March 3, 2021, between 10:58 am and 11:38 am, three males entered the store and appeared to be working together. It was reported that as one of the males distracted a store employee the other two males moved merchandise from the Men’s area to another section of the store. The two males are then seen exiting the store with bags of merchandise and leaving through the exit doors bypassing the checkout area and failing to pay for the merchandise.

The North Coventry Township Police Department is asking for the assistance of the public in attempting to identify the three male subjects captured on the security video. Anyone with information related to this incident or the subject’s identity is requested to contact the North Coventry Township Police Department.
