Police Investigating Explosion in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police state that on February 9, 2021, at approximately 9:00 pm, they responded to the 100 block of Locust Alley for a report of an explosion in the area.

Authorities state upon arrival officers located a potted plant that had been intentionally blown up by an unknown subject. A small explosive appeared to have been used, but it is not clear what kind of explosive was used.

Residents in the area stated this has happened several times recently. The West Chester Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 610-696-2700.
