EXTON, PA — The West Whiteland Township Police Department is investigating the alleged theft of money.

Authorities state that a customer had unknowingly dropped the cash inside of the CVS store at 141 E. Lincoln Highway at 5:30 p.m. on June 20, 2020.

Surveillance video was reviewed and it appears a white female picked up the money. The female left in a black vehicle. Surveillance images are shown above.

Police do expect to obtain better images soon but wanted to share this information so they can try to resolve this issue quickly.

The victim had recently cashed his unemployment check.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
