Oxford Man Found Guilty of Selling Prescription Drugs

WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney announced a jury found Raymond Reason, age 55 of Oxford, PA, guilty of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility, and other charges stemming from three separate drug transactions in 2018. Reason faces up to 54 years in prison when he is sentenced at a later date.

Authorities state that on November 20, 2018, the Reason sold four Percocet pills to a buyer on Market Street in Oxford. Nine days later, on November 29, 2018, he then met a buyer in the same vicinity, this time selling 40 Tramadol pills for $40.

When Raymond Reason was arrested on December 17, 2018, he was found in possession of 30 Percocet pills, which he was attempting to sell.

Oxford Borough Police investigated with assistance from the Chester County Municipal Drug Task Force (MDTF). Assistant District Attorneys Michelle Thurstlic-O’Neill and Siobhan Harding were the prosecutors.
