WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department arrested and charged Scott David McFeely, age 42, of retail theft.

According to officials, on June 18, 2020, officers responded to the Ace Hardware store located at 720 W. Strasburg Road, West Chester, for the report of a retail theft that had just occurred.

Upon arrival, police found Scott McFeely located in the parking lot after being followed outside of the store with stolen merchandise by an employee.

McFeely was arrested while still on location after he allegedly attempted to leave the store with a Milwaukee 5 piece power tool kit valued at $800.00, without paying for it.

A suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
