WEST CHESTER, PA — Authorities state a 21-year-old female was sexually assaulted in her apartment on November 17, 2019.

As a result of their investigation, West Chester Police arrested Bryce Buchanan Emery on Friday, September 4, 2020, when he turned himself in and was accompanied by his Attorney Julia Rodgers.

Emery is charged with Rape, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, Strangulation, Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Emery was processed and arraigned by Judge Marian T. Vito at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-04. Bail was set at $150,000.00 cash, which was posted.

Emery was released pending his preliminary hearing scheduled on September 15, 2020, at 9:00 AM.

A suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
