PARKESBURG, PA — The Parkesburg Police Department released a statement that police and medical crews were called to a disturbance, involving a knife, along the 400 blk. of W. 6th Ave., Parkesburg, just after 3 PM on Tuesday, June 15th, involving a group of teens.
Authorities state that several witnesses reported a group of juveniles engaged in the assault of a 14-year-old Atglen resident. The victim (and his mother) refused treatment at the scene and was taken for medical care for a minor injury sustained during the incident.
The 15-year-old juvenile suspect, from Parkesburg, was apprehended by police on W. 2nd Ave. shortly after fleeing the scene with a group of his friends. Police and the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and Chester County‘s Juvenile Authorities are expected to charge numerous juveniles involved in this incident.
