ROYERSFORD, PA — All Spring-Ford School District children can now receive free grab and go lunches during the coronavirus shut down, reports Justin Heinze of Patch.
“We ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate through this process,” wrote the District in an announcement.
“We will continue to make adjustments to ensure all students are provided a nutritious breakfast/lunch bag,” the announcement continued. Special thanks to our food service provider, Aramark, and our Spring-Ford Area School District Food Service Managers for their unwavering commitment to our students.”
All students who are 18 years of age or younger are eligible for the free lunches, with pickup Monday through Friday, from 11 am until noon.
Pickup locations include:
- The 5/6/7 Grade Center, 833 South Lewis Rd. Building 2, Royersford (lower level teardrop/parent pickup and drop off area)
- Royersford Elementary School, 450 Spring Street, Royersford (in the teardrop, the parent pick up and drop off area)
- Spring City Elementary School, 190 South Wall Street, Spring City (in front of the building, the morning drop off area)
A school employee will greet everyone who arrives, but you should not leave your vehicle and children must be present to receive the meals.
