WEST CHESTER, PA — A free Veterans Resource Fair for veterans, for their families, and for those who support veterans is set for Saturday, June 10. The Chester County Department of Veterans Affairs and the County’s Veterans Advisory Council are the sponsors of the family-friendly event, which runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the offices of Greencastle Consulting, located at 400 Chesterfield Parkway, Malvern.

Over 35 vendors will be at the Resource Fair, providing valuable information about programs and services that benefit veterans and their families. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the County’s Department of Veterans Affairs, Legal Aid, PA CareerLink – Chester County, and the Chester County Recorder of Deeds Office are among the vendors. The Recorder of Deeds Office issues Veteran ID and Discount Program cards to all Chester County veterans who have recorded their DD-214 or other military discharge documents.

The first 250 people who attend will receive a free Mission BBQ lunch, and the event, happening rain or shine, will also feature music and entertainment.
