KING OF PRUSSIA, PA —For 50 years, RSVP Volunteers has been responding to our communities’ needs by crafting responsive and innovative programming to meet the emerging needs of students and their families, adults and seniors as well as nonprofit organizations. All programs share one common thread: they utilize volunteers to make a difference.
To help bridge the digital divide experienced by low-income or isolated community members, RSVP developed a Digital Technology Training program, offered free to the public to teach basic knowledge of computers and mobile devices, to safely navigate the internet, use web browsers, email, Zoom and the use of apps.
Volunteers would attend virtual training classes to become program leaders to help adults and seniors gain skills and confidence in using their devices.
Nonprofit partner agencies such as libraries and community centers are in need of leaders to provide in-person training classes to the public. Training, materials and lesson plans will be provided.
