WEST CHESTER, PA — In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (DVCCC) will be hosting “Light the Night” events throughout Chester County.

On September 30th, at 6:45 PM, DVCCC and its partners will gather in Coatesville, Kennett Square, Phoenixville, and West Chester to come together and remember those who have lost their lives to domestic violence. This event is a powerful message that we will not tolerate violence in our communities.

Additionally, DVCCC will be teaming up with Phoenixville’s Colonial Theater to host a special screening of the classic 1944 film, Gaslight, on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 7 pm. This film is where the commonly used term “gaslighting” originated.

Proof of vaccination is no longer required at the Colonial Theater, and masking remains encouraged but is now optional. The showing will be a Pay-What-You-Wish screening with proceeds going to benefit DVCCC. After the film, there will be a discussion for all those that wish to attend.

Join DVCCC as they raise awareness and show support for those affected by domestic violence! For more information, please visit their website.
