Woman Reports Rape in Charlestown Township, Chester County

CHARLESTOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police announced they are investigating an alleged rape that occurred in Charlestown Township, Chester County.

Authorities state that on August 26, 2022, the 40-year-old female victim from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania reported being assaulted in a domestic incident to Troopers from the Embreeville Station. The victim was transported to Paoli Hospital for a mental health evaluation where she reported being sexually assaulted. This is a developing story while Troopers continue their investigation.
