Wilmington Man Arrested in Pennsylvania on Firearm, Assault, and Stalking Charges

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A 25-year-old man has been arrested on Firearm, Assault, Stalking, and related charges, announced the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department.

Authorities state that Mario Ayllon of Wilmington, Delaware was recently arrested in connection to an incident that occurred on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11:01 pm, in the 300 block of Scarlett Road in New Garden Township. The victim reported to Police that Ayllon was following her in his vehicle, with a gun in his possession, and attempted to stop her by cutting her off in traffic and forcing her off the road. Ayllon also had in his vehicle at the time, a juvenile child.

Ayllon has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Carrying a Firearm without a license
  • Endangering Welfare of Children
  • Possessing Instruments of Crime
  • Stalking
  • Reckless Endangering Another Person
  • Simple Assault
  • Harassment

He was taken into custody and transported to Chester County Prison for processing and arraignment. He was released on bail. The case is pending a preliminary hearing.
