West Chester Police Investigation on Road Rage Incident Leads to Arrest

WEST CHESTER, PA —The West Chester Police Department announced that they had arrested 32-year-old Jarek Rodriguez from Chester Springs in connection with a road rage incident that took place last November.

According to the police report, Rodriguez allegedly threw an apple at another vehicle, striking the driver. The driver then called the police and gave them a description of Rodriguez’s car. The WCPD was able to identify Rodriguez and issued a warrant for his arrest. On Monday, March 6, 2023, they apprehended him during an unrelated traffic stop. Rodriguez is now facing charges of Propulsion of Missiles, Possessing an Instrument of Crime, Harassment and Disorderly Conduct.

Rodriguez was processed and transported to Chester County Prison for arraignment. A preliminary hearing is scheduled at District Court 15-1-01.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
