WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Borough Police Department reports they continue to investigate a shooting incident that took place on January 2, 2021, at 3:06 AM.

The shooting took place at Hookah Matata, located at 27 West Gay Street, West Chester Borough. Both victims in this case continue to recover from injuries they received as a result of this crime.

The shooting suspect is described as a black male, who fled the scene and traveled out of the West Chester Borough in a silver Chevrolet Equinox SUV.

Police are encouraging anyone with any information concerning the shooting incident, including photos, video, and social media posts to contact the West Chester Police Department at (610) 696-2700
