West Chester Police Charge Motorist as Habitual Offender

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police announced that Anthony Caraballo, a 55-year-old male from West Chester, has been charged as a Habitual Offender after an investigation.

Authorities state that on October 13, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Maple Ave after observing the vehicle commit vehicle code violations at the intersection of E. Biddle Street and E. Evans Street. The operator of the vehicle, Anthony Caraballo, was found to be operating the vehicle on a suspended license for DUI-related reasons. Upon further investigation, Officers revealed that Caraballo had been convicted of being a Habitual Offender.

Caraballo was charged with the following offenses:

  • Habitual Offender
  • Driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked

A summons was issued for the above violations and a preliminary hearing was held at District Court 15-1-04 and all charges were held.
