West Chester Police Apprehend Stalker Who Targeted Juvenile Female and Adult Caretaker

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police have reported the apprehension of Gregory Butcher Sr., aged 63, in connection with stalking and related allegations.

According to the criminal complaint, Gregory Butcher Sr. purposefully intimidated and harassed a juvenile female and her adult caretaker by following them from a bus stop, prompting the West Chester Police to launch an investigation. During the investigation, it came to light that Butcher had been engaging in similar conduct for over a year. Consequently, an arrest warrant was issued for Butcher, who resides in West Chester, on the charges of Harassment and Stalking.

On May 11, 2023, Butcher was arrested without any incident. He has been arraigned and a preliminary hearing is now scheduled.
