West Chester Man Arrested in Theft Incident at Giant Grocery Store

WEAT CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of 47-year-old David Young on theft charges.

The criminal complaint alleges that on August 12, 2023, at 5:06 PM, the West Chester Police were dispatched to the Giant Grocery Store at 698 Downingtown Pk for a retail theft in progress.  As a result, 47-year-old David Young of West Chester was taken into custody for Retail theft.

Young was arraigned on August 13, 2023, and released on own recognizance. A preliminary hearing is pending.
