West Chester Man Arrested for Choking 10-Year-Old

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police Department arrested 35-year-old Stephen Reese of West Chester for choking his 10-year-old nephew on September 23, 2022.

Authorities stated that the altercation allegedly took place at a residence in the 300 Block of Fox Hollow Lane. According to the report, Reese became involved in an argument with the child which led to him choking the victim and preventing him from breathing.

Reese was placed in custody and charged with Strangulation and Simple Assault. He is currently being held at Chester County Prison pending a preliminary hearing at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-01. Bail was set at $25,000.
