WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office and Williston Township Police Department announced the arrest of Khadija Davis, 27 years of age, of Wayne, for shooting a 33-year-old victim living with the defendant’s ex-girlfriend.
Authorities state the defendant is charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, False Identification to Law Enforcement, & related offenses for unlawfully entering a home, and shooting a victim 3 times with a minor child present. The defendant shot herself in the foot as the ex-girlfriend tried to gain control of the firearm. The defendant gave a false name and birthdate to the police.
She is held on $500k cash bail at Chester County Prison.
DA Deb Ryan said, “The defendant’s complete disregard for the lives of 2 adults & a child is incomprehensible. My office will vigorously pursue the charges against the defendant in an attempt to bring justice to the victims. Thank you to Willistown Police for bringing a safe resolution to a dangerous situation.”
The allegations are:
Willistown Police responded to a shooting on July 27, 2021, in Paoli, where they found a victim with a gunshot wound to her arm and the defendant with a gunshot wound to her foot. The shooting happened at the home of the defendant’s ex-girlfriend, where the victim & her 14yo child lived.
The defendant entered the house through the front door. When the ex-girlfriend removed the defendant, she retrieved a firearm from her car stating, “I’m going to shoot this bitch.” She fired 3 shots at the victim, striking her in the arm, while the child was present.
As the ex-girlfriend tried to disarm the defendant, the gun went off & hit the defendant’s foot.
The defendant gave police a false name & date of birth once arrested.
Williston Township Police and Chester County Detectives are investigating. Assistant District Attorney Christine Abatemarco is the prosecutor.
