Wanted Man Arrested for Providing False ID to Law Enforcement

OXFORD, PA — Oxford Borough Police have arrested a man with an outstanding arrest warrant and charged him with providing False ID to Law Enforcement and one additional crime.

Authorities state that on January 16, 2022, at 2:28 am, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of the 200 block of S Third Street. The female driver was taken into custody for an active warrant. Unknown to the Officers at the time, the passenger provided a false name and he was released at the scene. Upon further investigation, the passenger was identified as 30-year-old Zachary Alan Pennell of Oxford who also had an active warrant. The police responded to his known address in East Nottingham Township and took Pennell in custody without further incident.

Pennell was charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrant:

  • Flight to Avoid Apprehension
  • False ID to Law Enforcement
