Wanted Fugitive Arrested by Pennsylvania State Police

OXFORD, PA — In a major victory for the Oxford Police Department, 27-year-old Jubenal Renteria was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police on December 3, 2022.

Wanted fugitive Renteria is charged with narcotics trafficking offenses as part of “Operation Wildfire.” This joint drug operation took out street-level heroin and opioid dealers in Chester County over an eight-week period in late 2018 and early 2019. In total, 77 defendants were charged with drug dealing throughout Chester County. Jubenal Renteria was 1 of 17 charged in the Oxford Borough area. This arrest marks a significant milestone in the Oxford Police Department’s efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the community.

The warrant for Renteria’s arrest was issued on January 8, 2019. He is currently being held at Chester County Prison on $10,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for December 13, 2022, at the Oxford District Court.
