Two Suspects Arrested for Stealing Holiday Tips in East Goshen Township

Arrested

WEST CHESTER, PA — The holiday season is a time for giving, and on December 20th, 2022, two alleged criminals took that sentiment to heart – albeit in a not-so-nice way. The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department has announced the arrest of two individuals for stealing tips left for sanitation workers in East Goshen Township.

Authorities stated that around 1:43 am, police officers from the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department observed a suspicious vehicle driving slowly around the area of Tanglewood Drive and Mayapple Lane, East Goshen Township. After a traffic stop was initiated, an investigation reviled enough evidence to conclude that the occupants of the vehicle were actively stealing holiday tips that were left out for sanitation workers by generous East Goshen Township residents.

Adam Thompson, 33, and Anne Farrelly, 35, both from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, were arrested and transported to Chester County Prison.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
