Teen Arrested for Violent Home Invasion in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police have arrested a man for Burglary, Robbery and related charges.

Authorities state that on Sunday, October 17, 2021, the West Chester Police responded to a residence in the 100 block of Dean St. for a home invasion robbery that had just occurred. Through an investigation, Luis Arizmendi, an 18-year-old Hispanic male, was identified and arrested for Burglary, Robbery and related charges.

It is alleged that Arizmendi, along with three other suspects, forced their way into the home. After assaulting the residents they stole numerous items from inside the residence. Arizmendi was arraigned and sent to Chester County Prison pending the preliminary hearing set for November 12, 2021. Police say this investigation is ongoing.

Arizmendi has been charged with the following offenses:

  • 2 counts Robbery
  • 2 counts Burglary
  • 2 counts Criminal Trespass
  • 2 counts Theft by Unlawful
  • 2 counts Receiving Stolen Property
  • 2 Counts Simple Assault
