Suspects Caught on Camera Stealing $2,020 in Lowe’s

AVONDALE, PA — The Pennsylvania State from the Avondale Station announced the investigation of a  Theft that occurred on October 6, 2022, at approximately 1:50 PM.

Authorities stated that the suspects in released photographs entered the Lowe’s Home Improvement store located on Hepburn Road, London Grove Township, Chester County and allegedly engaged in a “cash card” retail theft of approximately $2,020. Each suspect is accused of stealing merchandise including expensive locksets, tools, and a gift card by prompting the cashier to press the cash button on the register after the card reader did not properly read the card.

Suspect 1 made two transactions, suspect two made one transaction, and suspect 3’s attempt failed because the cashier denied the transaction. The suspects fled in the pictured silver Hyundai Elantra bearing Florida registration JLCV80, a rental vehicle from Hertz.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
