WEST CHESTER, PA — Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department announced that an arrest warrant has been issued for 49-year-old Janak Kumar Joshi of Lancaster County.
Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-02 granted the warrant on September 18, 2023, in connection to Forgery, Theft, and related charges.
The criminal complaint alleges that on September 11, 2023, the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department received a report from an East Goshen Township resident in reference to a stolen personal check that was later forged and cashed without their consent or knowledge. After an investigation, Janak Kumar Joshi, a resident of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was positively identified as the suspect.
