State Police: Suspect Steals Victim’s Purse, Attempts to Commit Fraud at King of Prussia Mall

WEST BRADFORD TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police announced they are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle that resulted in attempted credit card fraud.

The initial incident occurred on September 25, 2022, when an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle parked at 1495 Broad Run Road in West Bradford Township, Chester County. After smashing the rear window, the perpetrator stole the victim’s purse which included her credit cards, personal identification, and cash. That same day, at 12:10 PM, the victim received a bank notification that her cards were used in six attempted purchases of $504.94 in King of Prussia, Montgomery County.
