State Police Investigating Vehicle Break-in in West Marlborough Township

WEST MARLBOROUGH TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating a vehicle break-in and attempted theft in West Marlborough Township, Chester County.

Authorities from the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale Station state that on May 6, 2022, Troopers responded to Old Hilton Rd in West Marlborough Township for a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. The 36-year-old male victim told police that a black, non-Hispanic male wearing black sweatpants with a white stripe, a grey sweatshirt, and a black beanie was observed entering the vehicle. After being confronted by the victim, the suspect fled east on Old Hilton Road. No items were identified as stolen. Multiple Troopers canvassed the area with negative results.
