State Police Investigating Indecent Assault in London Grove Township

LONDON GROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating an incident of indecent assault that occurred in London Grove Township, Chester County.

Authorities with the Pennsylvania State Police Avondale Station state that on April 22, 2022, at 6:58 PM, an incident of indecent assault and indecent exposure was reported to have occurred on the 700 block of Gap-Newport Poke in London Grove Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The victim, a 50-year-old woman from Avondale, stated to Troopers that she was sitting in her vehicle and was offered a cigarette by an unknown white male. She accepted the cigarette. The male then offered her a pack of cigarettes in exchange for a sexual favor. The victim declined but the male grabbed her by the breasts and her groin. He entered the victim’s vehicle from the passenger side, sitting in the passenger seat. He then pulled down his shorts, exposing his genitals and requesting a sexual favor. After a few seconds, the perpetrator exited the vehicle and then he and a second white man left in a small sedan.

The perpetrator is described as a white male, with pasty white skin, approximately 5′ 7″ to 5′ 8″ tall, and slightly overweight. He appeared to be roughly 30 years of age. He was wearing a white shirt and shorts. The vehicle is described as a small, green sedan.
