Shoplifters Used Self-Checkout to Pay $10 for $696 Worth of Items, Say Police

EAST MARLBOROUGH TWP, PA  — The Pennsylvania State Police report the continued investigation of an alleged theft from the Walmart in East Marlborough Township that occurred on December 21, 2021.

Investigators state that on the evening of December 21, two individuals switched tags on multiple items. The unknown suspects then used self-checkout to pay $10 for $696.29 worth of items. This investigation is ongoing.
