Porch Pirate Busted! West Chester Police Make Arrest

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of 59-year-old Todd Spriggs of West Chester on theft charges.

Authorities stated that on March 6, 2023, at approximately 12:25 PM, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of N New Street for a report of package theft. Officers arrived on location and viewed RING camera footage from the property showing an unknown male removing a package from the front steps of 415 N. New St. The video was time-stamped on March 3 2023 at 12:23 AM. Through investigation, officers were able to identify Todd Spriggs, a 59-year-old male from West Chester, as the suspect in the video.

Spriggs was arrested and charged with theft. A preliminary is pending.
