Police: Shots Fired at Westbound Rt. 422 Vehicle

POTTSTOWN, PA — North Coventry Township Police Department announced it is investigating two shots fired at a vehicle on Route 422 on Tuesday night.

Authorities stated that on December 20, 2022, at 10:14 PM, the North Coventry Township Police Department received a call about shots fired on westbound Route 422 near the Sanatoga Exit. The victim told police that another car, possibly a dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee, was following their car and flashing its high beams between King of Prussia and Collegeville. The Jeep then passed the victim’s car and fired two shots, striking the driver’s side door. No one was injured in the shooting, but the police are still investigating this incident.
