EXTON, PA — Authorities in Chester County are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a man alleged to be in violation of narcotics laws. The West Whiteland Police Department states that a fugitive warrant remains in effect for 39-year-old Jose Miguel Lopez, who is wanted on drug-related charges.
The warrant, issued on August 7, 2020, by District Court 15-4-03 under docket number CR-191-2020, stems from allegations involving possession of a controlled substance as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officials have released a physical description of Mr. Lopez to aid in locating him. He is described as Hispanic, standing approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police are encouraging anyone who has seen Mr. Lopez or who is aware of his whereabouts to contact them directly. Tips can be reported to the West Whiteland Police Department by calling 610-363-0200. Officials also noted that online tip submissions are available for those wishing to provide information discreetly.
Authorities emphasize that Mr. Lopez is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
