KENNETT SQUARE, PA – It was a big day for the Kennett Square Police Department as they announced that Shaheed Smith had been arrested in connection with the armed robbery that took place in January of 2021.

The Kennett Square Police Department was notified by the Wilmington Police Department that Shaheed Smith had been taken into custody on January 7th, 2023. Smith is currently being held in a Delaware prison on $200,000 bail.

According to authorities, on the morning of January 6, 2021, the Kennett Square Police were dispatched to a reported armed robbery in the 300 block of Juniper Street.
